Titan Coating
TITAN is a coating process ideally suited for severe die casting applications. The TITAN coating is applied in a molten salt bath resulting in a very uniform and dense coating layer. The TITAN coating is metallurgically bonded to the tooling resulting in extremely high adhesion strength and peel resistance. The TITAN layer is chemically inert with aluminum giving the TITAN layer excellent soldering resistance. Coupled with a hardness value of 4200 Vickers, the TITAN coating can greatly extend the life of manufacturing tooling.
